Many
UK residents are unaware that they are entitled to an Insulation Grant or that they
can benefit from the feed in tariff when installing solar PV at the property and
more often than not waste money on reducing bills and energy saving measures when
they are entitled to grants that can reduce or cover these costs.
Insulation grants
are available to completely cover the cost of Cavity Wall and Loft Insulation in
your home. Grants are provided by the utility companies to cover the cost of home
insulation, however even if you do not qualify for a 100% grant, you will still be
entitled to a grant that will reduce to cost of loft and cavity wall insulation,
starting from just £99 each!

Solar PV
What are solar PV panels?
Solar electricity systems capture the sun's energy using photovoltaic (PV) cells. The cells convert the sunlight into electricity, which can be used to run household appliances and lighting.
PV cells are panels you can attach to your roof or walls. Each cell is made from one or two layers of semiconducting material, usually silicon. When light shines on the cell it creates an electric field across the layers. The stronger the sunshine, the more electricity is produced.
PV cells don't need direct sunlight to work -
Save around £200 every year on your electricity bills and produce almost 1 tonne less Co2. Homes with PV panels benefit form the Feed In Tariff guaranteeing a minimum payment for selling your excess energy back to the grid.
